Valuation & Division of Community Property Assets & Debts
F&D has well established affiliates whose expertise in the fileds of Forensic Accounting, Real Estate Appraisal, Lending, and Sales complement and assist F&D in efficiently addressing division of community property assets the likes of fmaily residence, commercial real property, community businesses of all types.
Custody Disputes & Move Away Orders
F&D takes pride in prioritizing the interests of any and all minor children over and above all else. Customarily and to the extent custody, visitation, and/or support are at issue in a case, F&D commences proceedings by way of set hearings (Orders to Show Cause) to immediately address and obtain temporary court orders at the inception of each case that would provide temporary relief durng the pendency of the action. To the extent minor’s counsel, family counseling, psychiatric evaluations, or child evaluations are required, the same is addressed and requested forthwith. F&D also has experience with Move Away Orders which may require representation in association with family law counsel in various other contiguous United States.
Related Domestic Violence & Temporary Restraining Orders
There are many occassions where domestic violence coincides with the desire to file Dissolution proceedings. F&D has simultaneously prosecuted and defended a multitude of parallel actions involving domestic violence and civil harrassment actions in obtianing and addressing any need for temporary restrianing orders to protect the client’s privacy and safety at home, work, or otherwise. Home exclusions order are also applicable and obtained in conjunction with cases where domestic violence is an issue, in order to protect the client and any minor children for the duration of the case and until the issues are resolved.
